Your first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know one another. You and your therapist will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your goals, and create a plan that feels right for you.

Our therapists work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, OCD, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and identity exploration. We also provide affirming care for neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC clients.

Our therapists believe in collaborative, trauma-informed care that is tailored to meet your unique needs. Depending on your goals, modalities such as EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic interventions, psychodynamic therapy, strengths-based approaches, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) may be implemented.

Yes! We offer secure telehealth sessions for clients throughout North Carolina, as well as in-person sessions at our Durham office.

Yes. We are in-network with most Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plans. We also offer private-pay options for clients who prefer not to use insurance. Superbills are available upon request for those wishing to submit out-of-network claims.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As progress is made, we may transition to biweekly or monthly appointments based on your needs and goals.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential except in situations where disclosure is required by law, such as concerns about safety or abuse. We'll review these limits to confidentiality during your first appointment.

Yes! Our therapists provide services for children ages 6 and up. In-person sessions are preferred for children; however, we can offer telehealth sessions as needed.
